Was I the only one who suddenly got some weird sensation of "'MURICA" flowing through their veins while watching the show (yes, I know the challenge happened in Canada)? Normally, I do not really like or want a truck of any kind but I could not deny that the want for that Velociraptor was VERY strong. I also got a very strong itch to go and hoon about in the snow in one of those trucks or an STi. Just thinking about the filthy sounds coming from a large truck or an angry STi with the Subie burble is giving me a strong fiz.

Id honestly rather have the big Chevy. The Ford is amazing, and it makes an amazing noise, I just dont fancy how it looks. Construction Yellow plus a strangely proportioned off road bumper, just doesnt give me the fizz. The collapsed sun was a nice touch though.

I think as far as snow hoonery, Tanner driving a Evo 10 on American 'Top Gear' has them beat, lol. All I got was a strong sense of John Hennessy being like "look, I'm not a bad guy, I lent these guys a truck to make a show!"..even though he has customers cars sitting in his shop that havn't been worked on/repaired in years still.

Hooning in a large 4WD is awesome!

The interior on the Chevy is really nice too. Definitely understated compared to the Ford.

It really got to me as well. I've had a hankering for a built truck for a while now. (I want the closest thing you can get to a trophy truck, while still being streeable)

My dad said it looked too much like a Tonka truck in that yellow.

That's true. The collapsed sun looks hilariously fun to use in the woods while sliding around in the snow.

i just watched it and it was cool, i really liked the Ford. The chevy does look good but it seems like the front bumper gets in the way when you're offroad.

I want to install a collapsed sun on the back of my car so I can shine it in bro-dozer drivers' faces.

I'm the same. I'm a ford guy by heart but that Chevy was NICE! I guess it might because I've always loved HD trucks.

This season has been the best in years and tonight's episode the best this season. There were multiple very funny moments but Jeremy making his cougar faces had me laughing hysterically.

Have a source for these customers still waiting years? I haven't heard anything like that still happening in many years.

Or better yet, blast it at people who install HID bulbs in non-HID reflector housings.

Yes! Between the trucks, the i8, LaFerrari and LFA it's just been a great series. The i8 and LFA segment both just gave me so many feelings.

Absolutely. And especially the bro-dozers with HIDs in non-HID housings. Though I think that may be a prerequisite to be considered a bro-dozed to begin with lol.

Once they got into the trucks it was cool, but it felt like it took them WAY too long to get to that point. The first part of the segment was Jeremy and James eating in restaurants and Hammond yelling at things (I mean, it was funny, but usually there is more vehicular carnage by that point)

My old man has an 08 Silverado with the LTZ package, and its an amazing thing. A nice grumbly exhaust, a bitchin Bose sou d system and HEATED leather. And I seem to recall the build quality was miles better than the Ford when we test drove when it was new.

No, what yoy actually do is get a junk washer pump and nozzle so you can squirt water on the wind shields of tail gaters. Much fun. I am stoked for my rally lights and police bull be to arrive for my SHO.

That supercharger whine made me giggle like a pre-teen at a Bieber concert. My GF watches TopGear with me each week (she's a keeper) and she gave me weird looks at first, followed by sharing in my excitement. I did experience the want for a powerful American Pickup, preferably one highlighting forced induction.

Personally I'd take a Bowler Nemesis EXR S. 510bhp from a supercharged 5.0 V8. Much lower vehicle weight of 1,600Kg and shorter wheelbase along with

My 09 LT Silverado has been a reliable daily. I'd agree it is well built, the dash materials are so so. BUT it is a truck and it doesn't matter to me what the top of the dash feels like. The Fords though, the aesthetics are what I didn't like.

For everyday use the Chevy hands down is better. For the task at hand the raptor was excellent. Did you see it crawling on 3 wheels!

Not a super direct source, one of my buddies from Texas was telling me his dad's work associate has a vehicle that was worked on years ago, engine has issues after about a week, so he sent it back...and he hasn't heard anything on it since.

Your buddy's dad's work associate, huh? Yep, thats all the evidence I need to bad mouth his company on the internet.

Oh yes! I started giggling uncontrollably from the supercharger whine as well. Something about forced induction sounds are just so juvenile yet so awesome.

That and the fact he's known for doing it, and known for being a shitty buisness partner for anyone outside of Texas. The evidence isn't just in this one scenario (y)
